Mary-Margaret S. Fitzhenry

Mary-Margaret was born in Summerville, South Carolina, on September 10, 1977. She was valedictorian of her class at Pinewood Preparatory School and now serves on their Board of Directors. She graduated summa cum laude from Wofford College (B.A., 1999) where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She traveled and studied abroad in Italy and lived in Australia after college. While attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, Mary-Margaret was involved in a dual degree program in connection with Vermont Law School where she completed concentrated courses in environmental law. This program allowed her to graduate in May of 2004, with a Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law (M.S.E.L., 2004) and a Juris Doctor from USC (J. D., 2004). She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2004. Following law school, Mary-Margaret spent two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Paula H. Thomas of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, who now serves on the South Carolina Court of Appeals, and an additional year as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Deadra L. Jefferson of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. She is a member of the South Carolina, Charleston and American Bar Associations. Her areas of practice include Business Litigation, Insurance Defense, Construction Litigation, various Environmental law issues and Probate estate closings.

Mary-Margaret is admitted to the US District Court and also a Contributing Author to "The Law of Automobile Insurance in South Carolina", 6th Edition.
